The Best Getting Ready Pictures

Set up your details(shoes, jewelry, flowers, etc.) and dress on a hanger in a room with plenty of natural light. If possible choose a room that has large windows as natural light is so much more flattering than flash. The photographer can arrange everything so it will look the nicest for the pictures, but it is helpful if they don’t have to waste time looking for all of the items that need to be photographed.

Make sure that enough time has been scheduled for the getting ready pictures. You don’t want to feel rushed as this will show in the pictures. Try to have the area where pictures will be taken free of clutter as unnecessary items can distract from what is important – the bride! Don’t be afraid to show emotion and above all…remember to smile. 🙂
